Private schools will raise tuition fees even more. A recession will come before incomes have time to rise. Subsidizing private schools will cause public high schools to fall into disuse. Ultimately, aren't they planning to privatize public education? I don't think they have the strategic mind to do that, and no matter how good the economy is, the country is likely to fall apart under the current policy structure. For now, we can't just leave things like the Child Agency alone. Taxes will surely increase even more.
Everyone should go to private schools - Income restrictions will be lifted from the 2026 school year, and the upper limit of scholarships will be raised from the current 396,000 yen per year to around 450,000 yen.
